Meridian Desk Set

A five-piece desk landscape built around a single walnut flitch, so the grain runs continuously from the caddy to the pen rest. The ebonized shells are dyed, not painted — the pore structure still reads under the black.

Stripe Serving Board
Zebrawood · Hand-wrapped cord
Cut so the zebrawood stripe runs the full length of the board rather than across it. The handle is wrapped in natural cord by hand — a soft grip against a hard, dense face.

Gaboon ebony · Brass rim
Turned and then carved off-axis so the lip moves like a poured edge. A 1.5 mm brass rim is set flush into the wall — you see the line before you feel it.

The base is turned in one piece from ebony, banded top and bottom with spun brass that will patina at the touch points. The shade is raw canvas, unbleached, so the light lands warm.
